Wearing multiple hats (many uncredited) and working with an amazing group of talented artists, actors, and cinematographers, this full feature indie movie was perhaps some of the most fun we’ve ever had the privilege of working on. Shot in 28 days with the Arri Alexa on location in San Pedro, California, Nectar took part in Pre Production, Production and Post Production activities including: raising financing, on set art and prop design, camera & lighting assistance, digital asset management, sponsorship, clearance, logistics – amongst a long laundry list of other activities.
This film has won several awards including:
Best Cinematography – Andrew Sachs, Best Actor – Hamilton von Watts, Best Editing – Ryan McLaughlin & Jamieson Tabb at the Oregon Independent Film Festival 2013. Sunken City was Directed by Ryan McLaughlin and is a Dog & Pony Show Production (Hamilton von Watts & Ryan McLaughlin). Story by Ryan McLaughlin, Todd Samovitz, and Hamilton von Watts.
