Metro-New York — Aris is the founder of Nectar Inc. ( https://www.nectarinc.com ) – a multimedia marketing agency that delivers integrated digital, technical and creative solutions to small and mid-size businesses – a company he formed in 2003 with a decade of tech success already under his belt. Since that time, he’s continued to bring insights and innovation to the use of technology in business and marketing while staying fresh, relevant and results-driven. His unique vision has infused the Nectar culture, and he leads all digital, creative, and technical design teams on behalf of its clients.

Aris conceives, architects, and develops successful internet and branding solutions for a variety of businesses — from an old school diner to an upscale restaurant, from an urban salon to a suburban plumber, from a FinTech startup to the Big Blue Machine — representing a wide cross-section of industries including manufacturing, publishing, entertainment, financial and professional services, among others. Every solution developed is designed to perform across the gamut of media channels – from web to TV – and function optimally in both mobile and traditional web environments.

Aris first put Nectar on the map with his innovative Menu-Wizard™ eCommerce solution – providing take-out menu ordering to eateries like Applebee’s over a decade ago. Other innovations soon followed that provided kiosk and online reservation solutions to luxury hotels and booking sites.

A firm believer in self-reliance, Aris has made it his life’s journey to master and enjoy all aspects of the technical creation process. Fully hands on, you’ll find him in the studio – wearing multiple hats throughout the lifecycle of a project, ensuring the precise delivery of each and every aspect. It is his ability to traverse seamlessly across development and production software environments that allows him to blend the creative with the functional, without compromising either.

Fearless of challenges, and living on the belief that all solutions should be based on knowledge and flexibility, he places tremendous care and emphasis in understanding the uniqueness of every client’s industry, their competition, their tactics, and most importantly, the genuine impact of a campaign or launch effort and how it translates into quantifiable efficiencies and coveted brand awareness.

Aris was raised in a traditional Greek family that emphasized education and work ethic. He attended Penn State University on a full academic scholarship and conducted research as part of the Human Genome Project before dropping out to join a tech start-up. He was part of the team that launched Peregrine Systems from inception to a position on the Fortune 250 and has held a range of executive and brand management positions, including stints at Candle and IBM.

In addition to his regular industrial work, he recently helped produce the indie short, The Secret and two full-length features, Bar Time Story and Sunken City, that are available on-demand. He likes to write, speak and mentor using his personal experiences in film, music and high-tech as case studies and is fluent in English, Greek and French.
